If you are in the Barnwell area, we extend you an open invitation to attend our church, learn of the Lord Jesus Christ, and participate in the life of the family. We will welcome you with some real southern hospitality.
This is an exciting time to be a part of our Church! We have designed a program to meet the interest of all ages and family situations. We are committed to a reformed witness, continuing the work of the Church by growing and maturing in our understanding and faith.
Each summer our youth are involved in a mission trip, working to provide decent housing for families in need. Our men of the church received an award for their community clean up efforts and we have found that our fellowship hall is probably the most used building in Barnwell, as we open it to civic groups for their work and fellowship. We believe in sharing our faith by our involvement in the Church and the in the world.
In the days ahead our town will be growing and its industrial base will be expanding. This calls for the church to be ready to minister to those who are moving into our community. We want to help them continue their faith journey in a way which would encourage them to become a vital part of the Church. Every day we experience growth and change, challenging us to make sure the future is secure as it builds on the foundations that faithful Christians have laid over the years. It is important that we continue a sincere witness to our Lord Jesus Christ so future generations will know the blessings we have known.
The future of Barnwell will demand concerned, dedicated, and competent leadership, and the congregation of Barnwell Presbyterian Church will be a part of such leadership. When you come to town, come by and pay us a visit, we would love to share our story with you.
Blessings,
David
